Preparation before operation

Check the equipment's condition
Verify that the power cord / plug is not damaged and to make sure that the heating elements (heat guns, shrink machines) are working properly.
Check that the equipment is placed on a flat surface so it will not tip over, and avoids loss of control if it slides.
Personal Protective Equipment
Heat resistant gloves must be put on prior to the procedure to avoid getting burned. A pair of goggles should be worn as a protective measure against hot air or any flying objects.
Put on a long sleeve shirt to cover arms and consequently reduce skin exposure.
Safety in the Working Area
Check that the equipment is in dry sights, adequately ventilated, and clear from flammable items (such as paper or solvents).
Ensure that the workbench is clean and free of irrelevant materials that might obstruct the operation.
Pre-process materials
Cut the film according to the size of the item, leave appropriate shrinkage margin, and avoid excessive pulling.
Key points for operational safety
Heating process control
Adjust the equipment to the appropriate temperature (refer to the film instructions) to avoid excessive temperature causing the film to melt or catch fire.
Maintain a distance of 10-15 cm with a heat gun and move evenly to avoid focusing heat in one area.
Standardized operation steps
Wrap the film after fixing the item to prevent looseness and uneven shrinkage.
Do not put your hands or foreign objects into the heating area, and turn off the device immediately after the operation.
Avoid overuse
After continuous work, let the device cool down to prevent overheating damage or fire.

Emergency and maintenance
Emergency measures
Have a fire extinguisher (dry powder or CO2 type) and know how to use one.
If scalded, rinse with cold water immediately. If worried, seek medical attention.
Equipment maintenance
Regularly clean the residual plastic on the heating element to ensure normal heat dissipation.
Disconnect the power supply when not in use for a long time and store in a dry place.
Common error warnings
✖ Use non-high temperature resistant containers (such as ordinary plastic boxes) for direct heating.
✖ Operate in a confined space (such as a small room) without ventilation.
✖ Ignore equipment abnormalities (such as burnt smell or abnormal sound) and continue to use it forcibly.
