Marble rigid PVC sheet is a high-quality building material that is versatile and can be used in a variety of applications, including walls, ceilings, floors, and furniture. This type of PVC sheet has a unique marble finish that gives interior spaces a sophisticated and luxurious look. Directions:

1. Measure the room and choose the sheet:

Measure the length and width of the room. Add an extra six inches (15.24 cm) to both measurements to account for waste. Use a chalk line or string to draw a line perpendicular to the direction of the vinyl sheet. Choose the thickness of the sheet. The type of application you have in mind will determine the ideal thickness for your project. For example, thicker sheets are suitable for floors, while thinner sheets are suitable for wall and ceiling installations.

  2. Prepare the surface:

Before applying marble rigid PVC sheet, the surface needs to be thoroughly cleaned and leveled. If you are installing PVC sheet over old flooring, it must be removed and the surface cleaned. Any dents or bumps on the surface should be leveled using a leveling agent and it is necessary to ensure that there is no dust or dirt on the surface, as this will affect the adhesion of the PVC sheet to the flooring, making it easy to peel off. Also, make sure the surface is dry before installation.

3.Mark the subfloor

Use a pencil and measuring tape to mark the subfloor where you will install the vinyl sheet flooring. Use a chalk line or string to draw a line perpendicular to the direction of the vinyl sheet.

4. Install the vinyl sheet flooring

Start in one corner of the room and unroll the vinyl sheet. Use a rubber spatula to apply pressure to the sheet so it adheres to the subfloor. Use a square notched spatula to apply vinyl adhesive at the other end of the room. Cut the vinyl sheet to size with a utility knife or electric saw. Peel off the backing of the vinyl sheet and place it on the floor.

5. Apply adhesive:

Use a suitable roller to evenly apply the adhesive to the back of the PVC sheet. The adhesive should be evenly applied to ensure a strong bond and minimize bubbles.

6. Trim and finish:

After attaching the PVC sheet to the surface, use a sharp utility knife to trim the excess material. Make sure the edges are neat and smooth. Use a jigsaw to trim the vinyl sheet flooring so it fits around obstacles in the room, such as doors and pillars. Use a rolling pin or hand roller to smooth out any bubbles in the vinyl sheet flooring. Finally, finish the edges with PVC edge banding to create a professional finish.
