I. Core Definition and Development Stage of the Industry
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) curtains are functional flexible partition materials extruded from PVC resin as the base material, supplemented with plasticizers, stabilizers and other additives. With thermal insulation, dust-proof, insect-proof, transparency and other characteristics, they are widely used in three major scenarios: commercial, industrial and household. Currently, the industry is in a critical transition period from traditional manufacturing to technology-driven, green low-carbon and service-oriented extension. The domestic market size exceeded 4.2 billion yuan in 2024, and is expected to reach 5 billion yuan in 2025, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) maintained between 6.8% and 7.5%.

II. Core Product Classification and Technical Characteristics
1. Classification by Functional Attributes
General Basic Type: Focuses on partition and dust-proof functions, with a thickness of 0.8-1.2mm and a price range of 45-75 yuan/㎡. It accounts for 65% of the total market and is widely used in ordinary shops and workshop entrances.
Functionally Upgraded Type: Features antibacterial, antistatic, low-temperature resistance, flame retardant and other properties, added with nano-fillers or special additives. The unit price is 20%-30% higher than that of the basic type, and its market share has risen to 37.6% in 2024. Among them, the low-temperature resistant type can withstand extreme environments of -45℃ to -50℃, suitable for ultra-low temperature cold storage; the antibacterial type has a surface resistance value below 10⁹Ω, meeting the standards of medical clean rooms.
Intelligent Integrated Type: Integrates infrared sensing, temperature and humidity linkage, remote monitoring and other functions, with sensing systems embedded through co-extrusion technology. Its penetration rate reached 28.9% in 2024, mainly used in high-end supermarkets and pharmaceutical workshops, which can reduce refrigeration energy consumption by more than 18.3%.

2. Classification by Structural Form
Transparent Flexible Curtains: Core advantage lies in high light transmittance (≥90%), accounting for the mainstream market share (about 70%);
Folding PVC Curtains: Easy to store, suitable for scenarios with frequent opening and closing. The CAGR of output from 2020 to 2024 reached 19.1%;
Double-layer Self-closing/Hollow Structure: Focuses on thermal insulation and energy saving, with a U-value as low as 2.1W/(m²·K), meeting the requirements of "General Code for Building Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Utilization".
