What color welding curtain blocks the most arc light?
Red and orange-tinted ones work best, no question.
They block way more UV and IR than plain, clear curtains.
I've seen welders come back complaining about sore eyes when they used cheap clear ones - tinted shade is the ideal pick for arc ray shielding at the workshop.
Can welding PVC curtains be used outdoors?
